Attached is the draw for the 2010 County Cup at Gullane. Clubs do not have to nominate their players till the start of play. Please note that the rules of the competition can be found on this website at "League, League Rules." Players are asked to use the facilities in the Members Clubhouse on both days. Tantallon defeated rivals Craigielaw by 4 matches to 2, at North Berwick on Sunday the 5th of September. Tantallon are therefore League Champions, Results and a photograph will appear soon. Both Teams qualify for the Junior Home Nations Scottish Final to be held at Spey Valley GC on 4th October 2010, giving both Teams a good chance to qualify for the finals in Spain.

Tantallon's win at North Berwick over Craigielaw makes them Champions. Congratulations to both Teams for a fantastic finale to the League season. Both have qualified for the Home Nations Regional Final at Spey Valley on 4th October. Haddington secured 3rd place and promise to be a threat next year.

The 2010 East Lothian Junior Championships, sponsored by East Lothian Council, were held at Royal Musselburgh Golf Club on Friday the 13th August. The scores will appear below shortly. The excellent scoring suggests the course was in fine condition. Thanks must go to Willie Rodgers and all the staff at RMGC for looking after the 84 competitors - the highest ever for the event. Thanks also to Nicky Black and Andrew Needen for assisting throughout the day.
The League has received this accolade from the Council - "East Lothian is blessed by many fine golfers and really appreciate the work of the ELJGL in supporting development of golf in East Lothian.

Stephen Neilson, a recent Junior at Dunbar Golf Club, had a wonderful run in the Scottish Amateur by reaching the semi-final where he lost narrowly to the eventual winner, Michael Stewart, the No 3 seed.
